Journeys & Exchanges

Journeys & Exchanges are designed to serve unmet customer needs and priority customer "Jobs To Be Done (JTBD). They allow you to extend capabilities of your application without the hassle of iOS / Android market place interactions. They allow the application of Zero-Shared Party practises without sending anything to the backend while still producing valuable outputs for the user to foster trust & loyalty and achieve desired outcomes. Journeys & Exchanges are designed on Orchestrator and deployed to and executed by Mobile SDK.

Journeys & Exchanges bring everything that DataSapien technology offers, together:

  • Access MeData to be processed completely on-edge (Zero-Shared Data) and / or to be sent to the backend with clear user consent (Zero-Party data) for further processing
  • Design and deploy completely new screens and logic (in form of scripts) with minimal or no coding
  • Make use of on-edge data tamed AI
  • Target an Audience
  • Optionally Reward those who choose to engage within targeted Audience

Journeys​

Journeys are step-by-step, end-to-end interactions containing screens and scripts (anything from simple algorithms to on-edge AI model invocation) that you design and place in a flow. This transforms binary data interaction into contextual, participatory customer narratives.

The Orchestrator features a capable Journey Designer where you can drag and drop steps to create a Journey. Step types are:

  • MeData Step: Allows access to selected list of MeData in the Journeys. This will trigger MeData collection and related native OS permission dialogs if needed.
  • Screen Step: Allows designing your screens to collect input from user or inform user.
  • Script Step: Allows authoring and deploying custom logic securely. Whole DataSapien Mobile SDK services (including AI Service) are available to scripts.

The Journey Designer allows you to execute logic to choose which step to be executed next and this - coupled with ability to build and deploy screens and custom logic - allows extending your application to engage with your customers using virtually endless use-cases.

Exchanges​

An Exchange is a lightweight Journey with predetermined steps. Each Exchange contains a flow of predetermined steps:

  1. A mandatory MeData Step
  2. A mandatory Screen Step as a Question-and-answer-based Survey
  3. An optional Script Step
  4. An optional Screen Step to display results / info

If you simply need survey-based and behavioural market research like interactions; use Exchanges, for anything more complex use Journeys.
